Kerbers Hill fort The remains of the drystone wall surrounding this fort are easily seen. The fort sits atop the ridge, and the entire upland area is littered with remains of other fortified sites.

Boreland of Kelton Homestead Moat Archaeological site of the remains of a moated homestead site, possibly connected with the Cistercian monks at Dundrennan. The moat runs east in a semi-circle from the green feed bucket by the stone dyke.

Everything was nice the staff to the food it's such a beautiful period build with a good mixture of old and modern. A nice large swimming pool alongside some games for children to keep entertained. Will be back hopefully later this year to finish off my wee tour of D&G

Spoke with a member of staff who advised that heating was in the process of being repaired and provided us with a tiny radiator that was not adequate for purpose. No option to move us to another room as all rooms were the same. Would've been better sleeping ...

This is a VERY bare-boned place to stay - I was at the very top = many narrow stairs! Centrally located and quiet; but that was sheer luck, because the two other sparse rooms on either side of me happened to have quiet people in them thank goodness! ...not a lot to say; nice couple owns it...my bathroom ...
