Cally Palace Hotel & Golf Course
Everything was nice the staff to the food it's such a beautiful period build with a good mixture of old and modern. A nice large swimming pool alongside some games for children to keep entertained. Will be back hopefully later this year to finish off my wee tour of D&G

Holiday Inn Dumfries by IHG
Room was freezing cold. Heating did not work. Spoke with a member of staff who advised that heating was in the process of being repaired and provided us with a tiny radiator that was not adequate for purpose. No option to move us to another room as all rooms were the same. Would've been better sleeping ...

Aberdour Guest House
This is a VERY bare-boned place to stay - I was at the very top = many narrow stairs! Centrally located and quiet; but that was sheer luck, because the two other sparse rooms on either side of me happened to have quiet people in them thank goodness! ...not a lot to say; nice couple owns it...my bathroom ...
