"Our experience at the Tygart hotel was far beyond any of our expectations. The entire building was extremely clean, our room was very spacious and had more than enough space for my spouse and our child. The on-site restaurant, the Oxley House, had incredible food and was a great place to eat after a long day exploring in the national forest. The staff were always extremely friendly and very helpful and we felt right at home. After a two night stay, we felt like old friends with everyone!"

"The mountain is a ghost town at this time of year, which meant I got to stay in a very nice place for a very reasonable fee. The guy who checked me in could have been a little friendlier, and there was NO ONE THERE when I wanted to check out. So I don't give the staff high grades. But the room was truly excellent! It really exceeded my expectations."
