「We’ve used Hotels.com for years and have always had good experiences — until now. This particular booking was deeply disappointing. The apartment was nothing like the listing described, and certainly not worthy of the 5-star rating shown on the site. It was damp, smelled musty, and there were visible signs of moisture damage — possibly even mold. We tried to contact both the property and Hotels.com during the stay. The property never responded, and despite our detailed complaint, Hotels.com...

「The apartment is ideally located, with shops and restaurants within easy reach. The promenade du Anglais is minutes away, as well as local transportation, with the tram stop 2 blocks away. A good security system separates the apartments from local residents. The apartment was bright and clean, with a comfortable bed, good shower and blackout curtains. 「The apartment is one of many in the same block. Regrettably, it is unclear which photos refer to the apartment one is booking. For example they show a terraced area for dining but with no indication to which flat it refers. Also we reported that the TV did not work (or connect to the internet) on day one. By day four no one had repaired it. 」
