「The room has a bad odor」

「Where to start? With the welcome packet hanging on the door. My husband and I approached the Inn on the afternoon of May 31, 2026. On the door, we found a welcome packet with a page inside directed to "Expedia Guest." A copy of this is attached. In the attached note, Mark introduced himself and then started complaining about Expedia. In the fourth paragraph of the note, he days the commission Expedia takes "makes it tough for small inns like ours." In the fifth paragraph, I kid you not,...

「The room was small but comfortable. The bed was too soft, but that's just me. I prefer a much firmer than average mattress. Having the diner right on site was great. The service was awesome & the breakfast delicious. I'd have no problem staying here again, or even just coming to eat.」

「They had to move me because they put me in a room with a faulty TV. The clerk knew the TV in the first room had a problem the day before. The TV that worked was difficult to tune to a station I wanted to watch.」

「Pool closed for a day and a half for Maintenance , there was an ants in the room and we have to move to a different room in the second floor, The hall property is old , I think this hotel should be cheaper than other places , No more cold water available after 10:00 pm. The breakfast was normal, The staff is great and helpful.」
