"Me and my partner had a wonderful stay at the old garage, very clean very homely and very modern, everything you could need for a break away, we did find the bed a little on the hard side but everyone has different comfort level with that, shower was amazing, host was very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed on arrival, would definitely stay again if we were in the area! "We had a really nice 2 night stay, we checked in earlier as our room was ready, which was a lovely start. The hotel was beautiful, the service was excellent, the bed was very comfortable, the shower hot and powerful. We enjoyed some nice food in the atrium bar, a lovely afternoon tea in the 1853 restaurant. And some nice 6 oclock gin on the terrace - all with fantastic service. The only negative was the room was so hot it was uncomfortable, a fan was provided and was really needed. There was also a huge generator outside, and the loading bay was noisy. (room 6 - junior suite) "

"The best part was the early opening of the.swimming pool etc. without children till 0800. lovely pool, good layout, and receptionist very pleasant. Other staff all very helpful, too. Will be back again, enabled us to explore Cotswolds and the Forest of Dean."
