「This is one of our favorite half-way stops on our way down to Cape Town. Wildernis is a quant little town with world-class restaurants and The Wildernis Hotel is such a great place to stay. Lovely pool, padel, tennis and mini-golf facilities. Excellent breakfasts! And very, very friendly staff.」

「I do not make a habit of writing reviews. For me to do so means that something has either fallen well short of an expected standard or has far exceeded them. This review falls into the latter. I Spent two nights at this property in September 2025 (suite 6). If you want to know what a 5-star boutique offering should look like then this is the exemplar.
