"Best location for a west Coast experience … right in the water, seals, lots of birds, super little trail around the wetlands for morning coffee walks … pub next door … and the sweetest, kindest staff!! We found a goose in trouble in the mud and the staff knew who to call for wildlife rescue and kept calling until help came! Great outdoor patio, too!"

"The location of this hotel was priceless!! In the middle of everything - so many restaurant choices, near the beach, near hop on hop off trolley stop. Sure the building was old but it was perfect for us! Would definitely stay here again!"

"This place was a lovely surprise. We stayed 2 nights. The room were big enough, clean and the kitchenette was nice to have. I’m not a fan of carpets so this would be the only thing I didn’t like. Everything else was nice. Happy to have coffee and muffins in the morning."

"What a gem of a property! My husband and I did a staycation here and had a lovely room overlooking the pool and ocean. It was magical. The pool is the best outdoor pool in the Lower Mainland. The views are spectacular and the location is second to none. Can’t wait to return 💓"

"It's an older hotel in a great location. If you want to be near the beach, cactus club café and Stanley park, this is a great hotel. It's older and could use a renovation, but totally convenient location with helpful staff and bars/ restaurants nearby. We watched the Vancouver sunset just steps from the front door."

"We really enjoyed our 2 night stay! The location was amazing - just steps away from wonderful restaurants, ice cream/gelato shops, even a 7Eleven was only half a block away. A great beach was less than 4 blocks away. A great hotel in a fantastic location!"

"I didn't like the noise from the street or in front of the hotel. My room faced the street and was on the 2nd floor. I would not stay on that side again. I liked it was it was right next door to Stanley Park and that was fabulous"
