Let me first say…I have NEVER in my life bothered to review a hotel ever, because I am generally satisfied enough. But if you’re thinking of booking here, you need to know….this Hampton IS NOT up to Hampton standards. We’ve stayed in tons of Hamptons and this one is not worth the money.
I have back/neck issues and we always book at Hampton because their beds are comfortable and good for me…usually. However, the beds at this location were HORRIIFIC. They were ROCK HARD and had no give. We had to go to WalMart and buy a mattress topper to even make it sleepable for me….and I was still sore after sleeping on them. We also spoke to some other patrons in the elevator and their beds were abysmal as well.
It was also generally run down. The room was much smaller than normal, there were holes in the curtains, a leg on the table was broken to the point of hanging on the joint, there was no remote to the TV in the room at all, and the toilet was constantly getting clogged. It finally got so clogged it would NOT go down at all and we called the front desk. They told us there was no maintenance guy on staff (!!!!) and sent up someone with a plunger. That did work, thankfully, and bless the poor guy that had to come plunge the toilet for us, because he was so nice about it, even though that was probably not in his job description.
That is not all but I’ve run out of space. Save your money and stay somewhere else.
