"After we finally got checked in, turned the AC on and it was not cold. Owner told me it would cool down and to let her know if I didn't need it "cold like hers (friend's room) I would be fine but I could switch it in the morning. Let me be clear, the AC did not work AT ALL and when we returned it was hotter in the room than outside at 9pm. Couldn't open the windows or doors because the of the mosquitoes. The owner was not on site, so I ended up having to share the room with my friend instead of...

"The accommodations were worth the price, and the hotel service was good. But pass on the restaurant in the evening. It is not where you want to be waiting for food after trekking all day. The staff is nice, is very nice, but insufficient, and I waited 90 minutes for my simple meal on the terrace. Also, there is major construction next door with heavy equipment on the adjacent wall — not relaxing. I suspect this work will be done by summer, 2026. "

"The room was spotless. Warm water showers!!! Reception desk staff, Carlos, was very friendly and helpful. Explained and helped with booking excursion and getting around the village. The restaurant accross the street had good breakfast and dinner and the bakery, also just accross the street, sold tasty baked goods. Highly recommend this hotel."

"The hotel overlooks the Lagune snd there were always birds to watch there, including flamingos. Staff was fantastic. Rooms were quite, big and very clean. Loved this place."
