The staff were ok, specifically the gentleman at breakfast, but as it was the start of the season and the hotel was empty it lacked any kind of atmosphere. The room was very disappointing and dated, in particular the bathroom, which was not very clean and like it was a scene from the 1970’s. The hotel was sadly very poor value for money-very over priced! The location is perfect IF you have a Seaview, and a room away from a corridor door that bangs closed every time someone comes through it. Sadly the worst night of our trip.....disappointing, I would not recommend staying here.

Excellent hotel with great sea view

Stayed in the annex which looked newly refurbished. Bathroom large and modern. Bedroom was ok apart from angled ceiling. When sitting on the bed and looking out you could believe you were at sea. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. Dinner had many options including vegan options. Excellent food. Staff very friendly. Highly recommend staying here.

This is a traditional clean and friendly hotel. It is not super modern or bespoke but certainly friendly warm and clean.

Lovely hotel with stellar views

We stayed here 2 nights and were upgraded to the spacious and very comfortable apartment (room 5). The breakfast selection was excellent, the food tasted delicious and the service was efficient. We also enjoyed dinner there on one of the evenings and were very impressed by the high quality of food and service, and can highly recommend it. The beautiful patio area in the front of the hotel has stellar views of the sea and we were lucky to have experienced a glorious sunny evening sipping on our drinks.

Excellent clean hotel with very good food. Staff are exceptional . My only slight reservation was that the breakfast was partly a buffet so that cutlery etc was being touched by several people.

Marvellous Myrtle Bank

Comfortable, clean and friendly hotel in an amazing location with a great view. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant aswell as breakfast in the morning, and I must say, they were both immense, great quality, fresh local produce, large portions served with a smile. They went above and beyond the call of duty when I had a dead car battery and they phoned the local garage who came instantly to sort it out. Absolutely top notch!

Great hotel with friendly staff. Great, large room with sea views, very large bathroom. Restaurant was ok. Only minor comment: they could with some better signage from the road, but it's easy to find once you get the correct road.

Hotel very tired , like walking back in time . We had booked king size room with sea view to be advised they did not have one and were given a smaller room at the back of hotel . Booked a long time ago and nobody has advised us of change of our room . We did pay a lower rate but what is point of booking something and you get no notifications of changes .
