Overall Good Value

Good check-in, good breakfast, good rooms, and easy checkout. We planned to stay for one day. When we needed another overnight stay, we chose the same hotel. Good experience both nights.

Short stay

This hotel was convenient to our activities. There’s a Walgreens right next to it, a Waffle House and Dunkin’ Donuts across the street. It’s close to Santa Fe College. It’s showing it’s wear and tear and we thought was too expensive for the condition ($229 nt) but we parked outside our room, it was quiet, the room was clean and the bed was comfortable.

The pool was out of commission…dirty and half full. The towel were thin and hard. There was no soap or body wash much less Amy lotion. Bare bones stay for when you just need a good bed and a shower. The staff was friendly and competent.

We needed a place to stay near our UF student and this worked well. It was easy to get in and out to the road, there were shopping options for last minute supplies right next door. The rooms are simple but quite clean. It is a nice, safe place to sleep - nothing more.

My Stay

Overall, it wasn't bad. Room was clean and location was right by the interstate which was nice. It appeared that they were very limited on supplies like pillows and wash cloths. They would only do housekeeping after 3 days. Only 1 small garbage can in the whole room including the bathroom so that was tough. The one thing I didn't like was no phone in the room to call the front desk with any questions. Very small seating area for breakfast. Same breakfast items both days I stayed there.

Pleasantly surprised!

From the outside, you think “uh oh” and pray that your room doesn’t smell like decades-old cigarette smoke. But once you step into the lobby, it’s absolutely lovely!! The front desk folks were delightful and thoughtful. The room smelled clean and was decorated beautifully. Plenty of towels, soft pillows, firm mattress, and super cold AC. We won’t hesitate to stay here again next time we’re in town.

Good place for the price

Room was clean. Staff was friendly. Pool looked nice. Too cold for us this time to go swimming. Breakfast was adequate, but cooks could not keep up with demand at one point. Ran out of coffee for a while.

Overall this was a good place to stay. This was my second visit and the property/rooms are simple but very clean. It is very close and convenient to where I need to go. BUT there was a deal-breaker on this trip - the smoke detector had been removed. I did not notice until late the second night so just let it go as I was leaving in the morning. The other room we got had one (for the adult kid) but ours did not. I won't risk it again. Beyond that it was great. We could also park our small RV there and it was perfectly safe, no one messed with it.

Need improvement in the customer service over all

It took 2 days to get our room cleaned, when we arrived, the broom had not been swept in the bathroom. But, the lady at the front desk on evening was very much proactive and had a very good customer service.
