「We were lucky enough to stay in Volcanoes Over View during our gorilla trekking visit. We were kindly met by Oliver and his team, and he made the experience 10/10, going above and beyond to make our visit as comfortable as possible. We were kindly upgraded to the tents. He was able to source gaiters and gloves for our treks at short notice. He provided delicious spicy tea in the evening and was patient enough to teach us the game of Igosoro. 「The lodge does not actually exist. We arrived at the building, and the outside matched the pictures. However there was no sign and no staff at the place. With the assistance of some helpful neighbours from the street, we learned that it was available for long term rental. A supervisor (who arrived on bike after being called by one of the neighbours) opened the gates so that we could see the “lodge”. It was completely empty and bereft of any furniture).
