"I was in Gabs for a week for work, and I was pleasantly surprised by Avani. Room was comfortable and quiet, there were multiple restaurants and a coffee shop on site, and the gym was pretty big with multiple machines, treadmills, weights, etc. Pool looked nice but I didn’t have a chance to use it on this trip, though the seating around it was really nice for grabbing a bite to eat while finishing work. And the spa is amazing! Great massage there. I will be back!"

"Outdated and in need of a facelift; Calling this a resort is a big stretch with it's limited dining, no onsite store, old pool, etc. The rooms look fine, but nothing works well: many lights burned out, tub doesn't drain, A/C works infrequently,Extremely Limited Room Service, and safe is permanently locked by some past guest (staff could not even unlock it). The front desk tried to be helpful, and that is its strong point"
