「This place is a gem. Located across the street from Intercity bus, next door from the train station and 50m away from the ferry terminal, the location couldn't be better! There weren't a lot of people when I stayed and instead of cramming everyone in a single dorm, they let each guest have an entire dorm. I appreciated the gesture very much. Moreover they provide towels (not common in NZ unfortunately) and there is breakfast available and included. I highly recommend this place」

「After our second day walking the Queen Charlotte Track, this resort was a lovely way to end the day. The room was comfortable and the shower hot and excellent pressure! Their restaurant has been damaged but they let us know that in advance and continued to provide excellent meals at the spacious dock or delivered to the room.
