「Pam and Lorna are great hosts . The breakfast was amazing and the room spotless. Add to that 15 minutes walk to an awesome sandy beach it’s probably the ideal place to stay . We will be coming back , with the dog next time !」

「Room was clean and comfortable. Lovely breakfast and owners were very helpful in finding the best way to the port for us. Near to the beach and pier. Excellent overnight stay and will use again 」

「Room was not your bog standard decor but was unique, bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was large with an excrllet shower. The staff were polite and would acknowledge you even if you were just passing. Kim who was on reception when we arrived was a standard bearer for the hotel group, she was very welcoming and went above and beyond when we required some direction assistance.」

「We had a very enjoyable stay at Strattons Hotel. The hotel was one of six I believe. We were just over the road from reception and where the restaurant is located. Very clean room which wasn’t as big as I was expecting but more than adequate for myself and my husband. I arranged for a bottle of Prosecco to be in the room for when we arrived, this was done along with a birthday card - lovely touch. Breakfast was brilliant. 「Gorgeous hotel with lovely, polite & enthusiastic staff! We were upgraded to a fabulous suite & the parking options were great. We loved this unique boutique hotel which has been decorated & designed with care & passion. Local transport was brilliant & Southsea is a hidden blossoming gem which we’ll be back to see next year! 「We stayed at the Ropemaker for five nights and thoroughly enjoyed the hotel and its restaurant. We had a lovely king-size bed that was very comfortable. The room had a portable air conditioning unit that kept it very cool, which we appreciated. However, it is noisy at night. The outdoor bar area is super cute and has little cabanas that seat about 4 guests. We'll definitely stay here again.」
