Hotel mit sehr gutem Preis/Leistungsverhältnis

schön gelegenes Hotel mit sehr gutem Preis/Leistungsverhältnis, reichhaltiges Frühstücksbuffet, Pool, sehr freundliches Personal. Die komfortablen Zimmer haben gute Betten, regelbare Klimaanlage, Safe. Die Schallisolation dürfte allerdings effizienter sein. Ein wichtiges Plus ist der kostenlose Shuttleservice. Insgesamt kann ich das Hotel sehr empfehlen.

Der Ausblick war einfach unschlagbar. Man hatte viele schöne Möglichkeiten, eine Sitzgelegenheit mit Aussicht auszuprobieren. Leider war der Verkehr an der Straße und die nachts bellenden Hunde in der Umgebung nicht gerade schlaffördernd.

Fantastisk hotel

Fantastisk dejligt hotel smukt beliggende med udsigt over Funchal og venligt personale. Der er gode parkeringsforhold (gratis), fine faciliteter med flot beliggende swimmingpool og et stærkt internet. Morgenmaden er meget lækker med et stort udvalg og med en kok der laver f.eks. omelet og padekager. På minussiden kan kun nævnes, at hotellet er beliggende forholdsvis langt fra centrum (der er dog hotelbus) samt at sengene er meget hårde.

Great apart from reception

This is an excellent hotel in many ways. The rooms are nice with great views. The breakfast is amazing. The only thing that is disappointing is the service with the main reception being a little bit sharp and unfriendly at times.

Great views, service and food. Had a lovely holiday. Didnt need minibar in the room, total waste and a fridge in the cupboard getting hot didnt feel safe. Room very nice but so minimal, could do with some drawers. Pool area, bars and restaurant excellent. Entertainment not always good but we went out most nights so it didnt matter.

Excellent hôtel. Tous les jours une dame de ménage vous arrange votre chambre, la piscine et le jacuzzi est au top. J'ai pu bien bronzé, et je me suis bien régaler au buffet du petit déjeuner. Le seul bémol est que leur soirée sont trop classic et vieillot, il y a rien d'intéressant pour les jeunes. Mais bon heureusement que c'est bien situé dans la ville.

Hyvä hotelli, jonne saapuminen ilman autoa on kuitenkin hankalaa seudun kovien korkeuserojen takia. Aerobusilla pääsee lentokentältä noin kilometrin päähän, mutta kävely hotellille on pelkkää ylämäkeä. Taksi Funchalin keskustasta kustantaa noin 6 euroa. Plussat: + Tilava huone + Kahdella tuolilla ja pöydällä varustetu parveke + Kaksi uima-allasta (ulko- ja sisäallas) + Kuntosali + Ilmaisia kyydityksiä tarjolla Maanantai - Lauantai CR7:lle ja takaisin (9 - 18 välillä noin kerran tunnissa) + Hotellilla oheisohjelmaa iltaisin (esim. grillaus kokin voimin) Miinukset: - Vedenkeitin ei kuulu perusvarusteluun - Allas- ja snackbaarin tarjonta kehno (esim. energiajuomia ei ollut tarjolla, ja illasta naposteltavana oli vain voileipä) - Aivan vieressä ei ole esim. ruokakauppaa, vaan on käveltävä noin 10 min mäkeä ylöspäin tai mentävä Funchalin keskustaan ostoksille

The best part of this hotel are the staff, every member of staff was helpful, cheerful and genuinely tried to make the guests stay a good one. Rooms are big and clean, food good, nice relaxing grounds.

Good hotel, good facilities. Choose the sea view.

A good hotel in a good location. Decent breakfast, which never runs dry. The room was fine, and the sea view is definitely worth it as you get the sun on your balcony as well. I did not require it, but they lay on a free bus into the centre of Funchal, which is useful if you're older and/or can't be bothered to find parking in the city centre. I spent a lot of time out and about, but if you go at the right time of year you could easily spend a whole day just lounging by the pools, sunbathing, going to the restaurant and the bar, playing tennis, sitting in the jacuzzi, etc. My only gripe was that my bed was a bit uncomfortable, because the mattress was very firm. Also, although the hotel advertises a safe in the room (desirable if you've got an expensive laptop, etc), this costs a few euros for every day you're there. I think that's wrong. It also advertises a sauna and steam room, but you have to pay to use it (5 euros per person). In most other hotels this is included in the cost.

Ein wunderbares, familiäres Hotel fernab vom Hotelrummel im Zentrum. Idyllisch am Hang gelegen mit bestem Blick in die Bucht von Funchal. Der kostenfreie Hotelshuttle fährt die Gäste täglich in die City und Retour. Liebenswertes Personal an der Rezeption, im Restaurant und auch auf den Etagen...Und das stets frisch gebackene Brot zum Frühstück einfach legendär. Gerne wieder!!!!
