⭐ 1 Star – Terrible Experience, No Accountability Our experience at this hotel was extremely disappointing from the moment we arrived. Upon check-in, we were informed that the elevator was broken and would not be repaired until mid-January. All available rooms were on the second or third floor, which was never disclosed ahead of time. The rooms were in horrible condition. The manager showed us three different rooms, all of which were unacceptable. Two of them smelled bad and had very dirty carpets. We were forced to choose the “best” option simply because it looked slightly less awful than the others. That same night, we found roaches in our room. This was our first stay at this hotel, and we immediately requested a refund. Both the hotel and Expedia refused. Instead, they moved us to another room, but the odor was so bad that our daughter began having breathing problems. We again requested a refund so we could leave and find a safer place to stay, and once again both the hotel and Expedia denied our request. The lack of cleanliness, poor maintenance, and complete refusal to take responsibility made this a horrible experience. I would strongly recommend avoiding this hotel.

The room that I stayed in was in good condition, except for the carpet. There were stain spots where traffic is. Housekeeper could have used carpet spot cleaner to spray and cleaned it. Breakfast was ok! The only thing I dislike is the pool area. We stayed there because it had an indoor pool for my kids to swim. The pool area smells of chlorine and musty mold. It could be because of something else. The hot tub was closed. They tried their best to air out the pool room in the morning by opening the doors to the outside. The pool water was also murky looking and the area needs an upgrade. So the only positive thing is that the water is warm around 80 degrees, so I really like that.

The hotel amenities was perfect. Shopping and dining area all less than a five minute drive was a plus. The front desk person wasn't friendly at all. She obviously hates her job. I dont expected to be greeted with a warm hug. A smile and a pleasant tone in ones voice goes a long way.

They double booked my prepaid room to someone else and then upcharged me for a worse room. They said there would be no upcharge, and then charged me. They claimed I had not called although I did. This hotel is a franchise and Choice Hotels would not help me. Do not trust this hotel. Also, the elevator did not work.

Staff were great. First room I stayed in one side of the bed sunk in, the other uneven. The bedsheets were stained with a large old stain and splatters. The tiles on the floor moved. The walls were stained and the carpet smelled. I spoke to the front staff who moved me to another room, which was an improvement. The only improvement with the new room was the stable bed.

Upon checking in, we were notified the elevator was down. We did get a room on the lower level; unfortunately, it was right next to the stairs. We heard EVERYTHING AND EVERYONE coming and going all night. It was the absolute worst. Mind you, we asked to move rooms about 15 minutes after we walked in. They said they couldn’t move us because we booked with a 3rd party. The mattress was awful. Will not book here again.They slide the checkout form under the door in the morning also which was weird.
