Breakfast is decent. Access to lobby is horrible as we have to lug our luggage up the steps with no help. One of our family member's room is horribly small and hotel will not make any concession despite having booked over 6 months ago, we should have been given priority on the better rooms. No air conditioning is a negative!

Room was large, staff were very helpful, car parking at the hotel wasn't an issue and was free. Place is a bit messy, room was full of random furniture, cupboards etc. Not in a convenient location but we knew that when booking and had a car so wasn't an issue for us.

I booked this hotel as it came up with a restaurant available. I had spent all day travelling and wanted to eat as soon as I arrived only to be old that the restaurant was closed indefinitely. Leaving me no option but to travel into the town and find somewhere to dine then get back to the hotel. Not what I wanted at all.

Great stay at the Lowen
Great quiet hotel with attached restaurant. Quiet neighborhood right opposite a bus stop. Great transportation to Freiburg. A very residential neighborhood so if you want to eat, it has to be there unless you drive. Breakfast is 10E extra but well worth it as it is an open buffet with cereals, bread, cold cuts, cheeses and eggs and hot dishes. There are also two bottles of water in the room daily. I prefer to pay at the hotel rather than in advance as there are sometimes disputes. That was the case here but it was resolved. I paid in advance and they had not received notice so take all paperwork with you.

Wir waren für eine Nacht hier. Personal war nett. Hatten nach Besteck fürs Zimmer gefragt, war kein Problem. Parkplatz war voll, durften dann aber auf die Personal Parkplätze stehen. Schön war es, dass man schnell in der Stadt ist und mit Hund sich Möglichkeiten hat und grüne zu gehen.

L’hotel è molto grazioso e ben tenuto. La stanza di misura sufficiente ed il bagno ben funzionante. Peccato nn abbiano mai rifatto ke camere per le tre notti in cui sono rimasto. La colazione è molto varia e di qualità. Peccato che non funzioni il ristorante che, per chi si ferma qualche giorno, sarebbe molto comodo

Die schlimmste Hotelerfahrung unseres hotelgewöhnten Lebens: Trotz anderer guten Seiten des Hotels haben wir zwei Nächte lang augrund der laut grölenden, teils betrunkenen Gruppen auf der Hotelterrasse praktisch kein Auge zumachen können. Da diese Leute keine Einsicht zeigten und die Hotelrezeption ab 22:30 nicht mehr besetzt ist, konnten wir uns auch an keinen wenden.
