「TL:DR, The room was clean and the bed was comfy. I paid Expedia extra for a room that wasn’t available, and the staff accommodated as much as they were able and was very friendly. I very much appreciated that. I wanted to stay here because I’ve driven by it literally hundreds of times and the atrium chandelier always looks so nice from the freeway. Inside, the rest of the hotel is also nice, just old. The carpeted floor is just slightly sticky in the way that most South Louisiana hotels are....

「The lady at the front desk was great. The breakfast was excellent. The cleaning staff was wonderful. The only thing I did not like was my wife and I was watching our four granddaughters for my daughter and her husband to go eat and they said we only get four armbands for the pool and since there was 6 of us they wanted us to pay 25 dollars an armband so that would be 50 dollars just for a few minutes at the pool. After paying 136.00 for one night stay, I think that is a joke. We were fortunate...
