"Nice hotel in a great location; across the street from the train and bus stations, as well as a supermarket. Not far from city center. My room does not have window shades to keep the early sunlight out, that is the only downside. I definitely would stay here again. "

"Arrived on the biggest festival day of the year but staff was great and helped us navigate the crazy parking situation as the city gates were closed making their normal lot unavailable. Room was small as expected but perfectly located near everything. Breakfast was very good and lots of room for the packed house. Ate at the hotel restaurant which was very good as well. Great value and spotlessly clean. "
"A lovely hotel within reasonable walking distance from the train station, on the Main Street into the old town. Only a short walk to the main square and shops and a great little place to base ourselves for exploring n and around Rothenburg on der Tauber.
Breakfast had plenty of options and a lovely bonus was being able to order our eggs freshly cooked.

"The Burg Hotel was a gem in such a charming city lost in time! Otto was so warm and welcoming and even recommended our taxi to the Frankfurt airport. The breakfast was outstanding with homemade apfelkuchen, fresh bread assortment, meats, cheeses, and jams everyday. We had the family apartment and were delighted to find we had the run of a whole house with two bathrooms and a washer and dryer! The ground level bedroom was a welcome break from stairs for those of us who don’t handle them so well. The cross ventilation was splendid in the evening to cool the place off even on 90 degree days. Everything was in walking distance, although it was a bit of a hike from the train station with luggage. Best to have plenty of euros on hand, some places are cash only. There is a nearby bank with ATM if you get caught short on cash. We would definitely stay here again!"
