"I couldn't possibly say enough positive things about La Bastide and the proprietors. This was an absolute 5-star experience.
We loved the beautiful B&B inn and all the small but elegant details. Breakfast was absolute first-rate (and we are pretty food-centric, and pay attention to quality ingredients ). Rooms are spacious and well appointed. Breakfast dining area was very nice, with wonderful morning light and views over the property. La Bastide has a back patio with a charming French fountain and plentiful seating to enjoy the evening and a glass of wine. You are in the country but just a couple minutes from the downtown strip.
Mark the proprietor was a fount of useful guidance and helped us plan the winery visits and other attractions in the Dundee Hills area. This location is extremely convenient to local Dundee tasting rooms and restaurants as well as just down the road from Newberg and an easy drive to McMinville. I hope to return to the area and would absolutely stay here again."
