「The Station House was in many ways ideal. The room was roomy and well furnished, the access to the extra communal room where we could sit and make tea and coffee and keep fresh milk and food in a fridge was excellent. Two small things let it down. The reception was across the road in the associated hotel. Once in the hotel the notice said the reception was upstairs but there was no obvious reception desk up there. I looked around and went in to the bar and no one was behind the bar. It turned...

「Booked an executive double room which was very spacious and had a large bath too. A bit dated overall but clean and we had a lovely overnight stay. Dinner and breakfast were both good quality with gluten free options. I enjoyed using the pool and sauna (pre book) however disappointed the hot tub snd steam room were not in operation. Also, the spa was closed both Sunday and Monday. Hotel is set in extensive grounds and is a 15 minute walk into Aberfoyle. Plenty EV charging points at the hotel....

「Lovely Loch view doubles. Big comfy bed. Traditional decorations old feel country house hotel with good spa-pool, steam and sauna. Breakfast included. Top gourmet restaurant and service, decent bar and bar snack offer also available. Good VFM overall in a stunning location overlooking Loch Rannoch.」

「The property was beautiful but a little of town. Very limited taxi/cabs available therefore one has to ensure that they are organized and pre-book transportation. The staff was extremely accommodating and very polite and helpful」

「The apartment was adequate for two as it had two single beds.most of the furnishings were great but others were a bit tired looking. Parking isn’t the greatest as the bay doesn’t accomodate 2 larger vehicles. We had to park in one of the hotel bays but arriving back at midnight didn’t notice the penalty signs. £100 fine was not a great end to our overnight stay.」

「View was amazing the only highlight. The property was very dated. The table had remnants of food on it and the bin had not been emptied from the previous guests. It was 1 degree that night with no option to turn the heating on so we slept in our clothes as it was freezing!! The bath had a permanent dirty mark on it as im sure it had been there from day 1. Like I said the view was amazing and the recetionist was friendly but those were the only good point.」
