The staff were nice, but it was run down and the elevator was sketchy.

Gran Mareiro Hotel
Staff at lobby try to sell you tickets to restaurants and deceive saying you cannot get in without a ticket - which is not true. Then when you agree to buy tickets, they sell trough a personal account of their own and not associated with the hotel.
