'The Jacobite' steam engine, pulling the Fort William to Mallaig train along the line made famous in the 'Harry Potter' film series. Extremely popular of course so you will need to book your trip very early!

Took this trip in late November, when days are rainy, gloomy, and short, but the experience was one of a kind. Strolling through the forest I was amazed at how green everything was, all covered in moss and ferns, almost like a fairy tale. I would definitely visit it again any time of the year.

The room condition is clearly old and worn off especially for the toilet. It’s clean though. The hotel needs a renovation to bring the client experience to the next higher level.

The food and the service in the restaurant was terrible. We waited for an hour to get our pizza while people who ordered after us had already got their steak. Had chase down the staff 3 times and then our pizza turned up burnt
