It is a nice place to stay. We where pleased with the accommodations. We visited family in Pierre, only needed a place to sleep. Had breakfast one morning, is was good. It was in the end of December and was off season. We will stay again!

An interesting sleepy little town. Likely pretty busy from time to time when there are rodeos and the likes. They had a great fair across the river when we stayed there.
Italian restaurant downtown in Pierre was outstanding- La Minestra.
Pierre SD - across the river has several very interesting tourist attractions. #1 South Dakota Cultural Heritage Center.
