"We’ve stayed at a number of places in Fort Pierce and St. Lucie and The Hutchinson was one of the nicer ones. Beds were good, wi-fi okay, and everything worked well. Basic breakfast included in room cost. Washer and dryer on location. A couple of fun restaurants that are walkable. The best parts were the hotel’s small pool, private beach and fishing pier and the covered deck…great places to sit and relax. We’d stay again."

"Our first room had public hairs on the floor (Room 414). We requested a second room. Our second room (101) looked like it was in the middle of a renovation. Bathroom door knob ready to come off. Refrigerator was on the floor. Bedside lampshades were yellowed and cracked. Not enough plugs and tv was old. "

"Bad area. Hard to get around. No dresser, no closet, room didn’t feel secure. One restaurant, no others close by. Not a recommended area for seniors or young families "

"Doggy area of the city....Rooms looked the part, worn and tired. Price for the stay was definitely not comparable with what I got. I was very tempted to ask for a partial refund."

"I choose this area for price, especially during tourist season. It's at a major junction for Turpike and I95, thus a lot of trucking clientele. Room was clean and well furnished. Common areas aren't bad, just unremarkable or basic. There is limited eating outside the hotel. Walmart is a short distance. You can drive a few miles for more food and shopping at St. Lucie West though hotel rates can be significantly higher."

"Absolutely that’s filthiest dirtiest place I’ve ever seen in my life. I would let my dogs stay in it. That’s why I didn’t."

One room was broken into with the door latch unable to lock, another room had no running water, while my disability room was on the second floor. 4 unsatisfied guests tried to get their rooms exchanged, during my check in, to address their issues, to no avail. Construction began at 8:30 a.m. with hammering loud enough to awaken sleeping guests."
