Clean room. Good wi-fi. Friendly staff. Check out was quick but I found it interesting that guests need to see someone in person to check out. Other hotels let you drop the key in the box or leave in the room. Any extra charges go on your credit card. Why the in person checkout?

The staff was very courteous. However, the room (and even the corridor) smelled like moisture or mildew. I know humidity is very high in Fort Lauderdale, but something is seriously off when the musty smell is that strong. One is hit in the face with the smell as soon as you stepped off the elevator. Also, the mattress was way too soft (extremely soft), so I have back problems this morning. The location worked out well, and the breakfast was fine, the only problems were the moldy smell and the soft mattress.

Staff was friendly. Breakfast was plentiful with many options. Room could have been cleaner upon arrival, specifically the bathroom. But room service cleaned well during our stay. Hotel is on busy street so if easily disturbed at night, may not be a good fit, but noise is not obsessive.

I didn’t make use of the bar or restaurant. There were stores and restaurants in the general area that I patronized instead. I found the service at the hotel to be outstanding. If you come in a little earlier than expected (before check in time) they might let you into your room before the official time. I thought the entire staff was gracious and attentive, but I would like to give special thanks to Keisha, who made sure that I was on the bus on time to get from the hotel to the pier. Not every hotel gives you that level of service.
