The hotel rooms were remodeled in May-2025 according to front desk staff. They were beautiful and clean. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. Will absolutely return and recommend!!

Our stay at Barley House was wonderful. It was super close to the beach. We loved that they offer beach carts with chairs and an umbrella. They were super accommodating, and made it super special for our anniversary. We would love to stay here again when we visit Fort Lauderdale!

Staff were very kind, got us checked in early. Pool is so very nice and heated. They have wagons with chairs and umbrella to take to beach (covered by resort fee) absolutely lovely clean room.

Our first impression when we drove up to the hotel was a bit skeptical, it didnt look very inviting. The inside was really nice, lots of places to sit. The walls in our room were paper thin! I could hear everything the people next to us were saying and doing. The room was really nice and had a beautiful view from the balcony. Staff was friendly. Breakfast wasn’t very good, the hot food looked like it was all microwaved and not hot. I ended up getting a bagel and piece of toast. We didn’t use the pool, however it looked nice and clean. I’m not sure we’d stay here again only because I couldn’t sleep with the noise.

This place was so quaint and cute. The staff was super nice and the hotel was very clean. The hotel was tucked back off the street so it was quiet but it took 4 minutes to walk to the beach. I will definitely be back. I highly recommend this hotel.

this was one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in. Absolutely beautiful. Only downside? No view.. but that doesn’t matter because the slippers the bathroom, the gorgeous modern shower with the rain head as well as a super powerful handheld, humongous television, the gigantic mirror in the bathroom and the hall! These are the things that matter. Plus a wonderful breakfast all included. Couldn’t ask for a better hotel! Really beautiful.

The hotel was clean and the staff were very friendly and accommodating to all needs. The hotel is very close to the beach, we only had to walk a few minutes. It’s also in walking distance to many restaurants and shops along the beach. The pool was not warm but it was nice to have for the kids. The few downsides to staying here were; the limited breakfast options, the elevator had to be reset everyday we were there so we had to use the stairs, and the shower leaked out of the door cracks so bad that we used all of our towels to soak up the floor, the pillows were very uncomfortable.

Very clean room with large, updated bath and awesome t.v. screen. Loved the in-room coffee pods and tea. Very nice staff and wonderful by-the-beach location. I would plan to have breakfast somewhere else though.

We had a pleasant stay pre-cruise at The Barley House. Several food options and the beach in quick walking distance. Nice looking pool and lovely carts with beach supplies provided for guests. Crazy large showers and nice toiletries, with comfy robes and slippers to slip into after. Full breakfast was included. Enjoyed the evening on the balcony enjoying the lovely weather. Nice beds with fluffy blankets. It fulfilled all of our needs for the night!

The room was very clean, spacious, and the most space I’ve had in hotel in years. It has a safe box microwave oven and coffee maker. It has two double beds and a lot of space, view of the pool. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. They do provide breakfast in the morning , so will have to let you know how that goes.

The property is newly redone. Theree are many design things that didn't work out so good. Some spaces are cramped and others wide open. There are bougainvillea close to the edge of the pool ( they have thorns) The breakfast was minimal. The staff was very nice and accommodating. Good location- convenient and a strip of restaurants nearby. Overall nice but will probably try another hotel next time we are in town.
