We loved our room. It was clean and had a comfortable bed. The communication with the host was great. We had a mix up on which building our room was In and even at 11:30 at night we got a quick response. It was really nice being so close to downtown Fort Collins.

This our second time staying at The Flats and this time don’t disappoint. It’s very close to CSU campus and in a safe area. You have to park on the street (or at Target up the street), but we have never had a problem finding a spot. Easy check-in and great communications with the hosts. We will always try and book one of these places whenever we’re in town.

We went to see a show at the Lincoln Center and it was right across the street! And afterward we walked down to college Avenue and that was very convenient. The place was really clean, Check-In was seamless, and we really appreciated that.

On the plus side: I liked that there was free coffee available, communication with staff was excellent and the room itself was very nice and spacious. On the negative side: the room had a strong smell of insectacide due, no doubt, to the high volume of insects coming in through the front windows which are about a foot from the bed. Also, I could not adjust the air conditioning (controls are locked) so the room was hot and stuffy since I didn't want to open a window and battle more insects.
