The mattress is very comfortable, the bedding is clean and tidy, the room is very clean, but the heater is too noisy, the bathroom ventilation fan is too noisy, if this is improved, very, very perfect!

We liked the nice bedding, towels and strong wifi. The bathroom looked like the renovators got to 80% completion and then walked away. Caulk globs dripping around, a sink and pedestal painted over in a weird textured paint. Dispensers for liquid soap, shampoo, etc. a foot outside of the shower on the wall. When my husband first looked at the outside of the property he said "no". The office guy was trying to be comical, but after a long journey, we weren't in the mood. The room had an overpowering smell of Febreze. We had to open windows in the bathroom and near the door for about 4 hours. Luckily the nearest 3 rooms on either side were all empty, so it was very quiet and we slept well.

This hotel is an old Travelodge being renovated. It has 2 different names (Studio 9 on my booking Omno unpin arrival. The location is excellent. Walking distance to glass beach and restaurants. The room smelled heavily of disinfectant and the chair was very dirty. Beds and bathroom were clean. The walls/door were very thin. Could hear others clearly. The place was adequate but not great.

**Not what I expected based on the photos** The pictures on the listing were pretty misleading. There were photos of the nicer rooms with desks and bathtubs mixed in with the basic room photos, so I thought that's what we were getting. Turns out those amenities were only in other room types. **Super noisy** This place was loud. Between the traffic and trash trucks picking up what sounded like right outside our door before 7 AM, we barely slept the first night, and had to get ear plugs for the other nights. The door didn't seal all the way around / there were visible gaps of light, so all that noise just came right through. **Door problems** In addition to the door not sealed all the way around, the hotel door lock and regular lock was completely missing and the internal door deadbolt didn't work at all. We could only lock it with the electronic key, which was kind of worrying. **Uncomfortable bed** The mattress was really firm. I'm a side sleeper and had to stuff a pillow under my hip just to make it through the night. **Bottom line*** Look, I know this is a budget motel, but even for the price this was rougher than I expected. The misleading photos didn't help - I would've picked somewhere else if I'd known what we were actually getting.

Both Reception staff lack training. They don’t great or acknowledge you when you come in to their desk nor when you leave. If you inquire about a good place to eat you will not get a clear answer. If tell them there is no coffee in the dispenser you have to wait 15 minutes to make some more. In short, not trained for hospitality services. The motel is older, the shampoo, conditioner, body soap dispenser is mounted outside the shower?? Pump once and you have to wait 1 minute to pump again…. Shower rod is rusted, if the area is cold or hot plane not to sleep that night from the Air Conditioning unit. It’s like a compressor by your ear. This place is good if it’s around 59 dollars a night not what we paid 140.

During the stay the room I had to the far left I would consider the “landlord special” when you looked around the room you definitely seen broken items in the room the chairs they had were covered in stains and one was broken the curtain was hanging off the wall. It was extremely humid in the room the ac didn’t work if you needed to cool down thinking it being so close to the oven you would be cold it was HOT. But one thing that wasn’t hot was the hot water or the water pressure. Both were non existent, beds comfy tv and WiFi work I did have a fridge and a microwave. But if you need to shower after being at the beach that didn’t happen I stayed 3 nights and all 3 nights no hot water the first two were just warm water the last night ice cold. I also requested maid services and for whatever reason that didn’t happen as well.. you can see some updates were made but still a long way to go.

The hotel was very old and had been updated some inside the room. It looked much better in pictures. The room itself was clean enough and the bed very comfortable but the outside was quite run down looking and we did not feel totally safe or comfortable in the area in general although we were nicely surprised to find we were very close to Glass Beach which was very nice!

Inexpensive and pretty quiet. Very basic and quite small. One chair and very small desk. Would be difficult for two to sit down for a meal. Reasonably clean although the sink was covered with pink liquid soap which was kind of a turn off.
