Kitchen had basic utensils for cooking but if you may want to bring your own pots and pans, spices and cooking oil, for preparing full meals. Nice little getaway.

The first night was ok, except the fireplace and the jets in the tub didn't work, and the sink drained VERY slowly. Was probably due to the fact that there was a critte of some kind in the walls. Was very loud. Got up to ants all around coffee pot and toaster oven, which we didn't use. No front porch light. There was so much ice built up on the freezer couldn't put anything in it. Needless to say, we will not be staying here again.

Despite showing a little wear and tear, the cabin was quaint, clean and very comfortable. The full kitchen was wonderful. I would definitely stay here again.

Great value for this property. There are approximately 11 cottages. Parking is convenient, right next to your cottage. Our double beds were comfortable, sheet clean, gas fireplace warms the cottage sufficiently. Shower and bath clean, good water pressure. You are advised not to use both the microwave and toaster because that would exceed the 15amp circuit. Security didn't seem to be a problem. Only 2 other guests were visiting for the night of September 30, 2025. Be sure you receive a text so you can enter the cottage. For some reason, my phone didn't but I called the number posted on a building near cottage 8. Devon was helpful getting us into the cottage and sharing local information.

The room was as described and suited our needs for the one night we stayed. Review would be higher if it was clear this was a self-check in stay. We arrived to a sign on the office door stating that there is no open office and to call a number, which we weren’t able to do with a Canadian phone. Luckily a guest told us we would have received an email with check in instructions. Which would have been great, except we never received an email. We spoke with a cleaner who was helpful in getting in touch with her manager and after an hour we were able to get into the unit. My messages to the business have gone unanswered on Expedia and no apologies were issued. Be aware.

The property has car ports for some rooms, which is super convenient. Plus, it’s close to state parks, beaches, restaurants, and grocery stores. They’ll give you a quick message on the day you check in at 3pm with all the contactless check-in instructions. The room we stayed in didn’t have AC, but since it’s already chilly and the ceiling fan is pretty strong, it wasn’t a big deal at all. And the full kitchen is perfect if you’re trying to save money and don’t want to splurge on expensive food for longer stays.

The property is mostly unstaffed. The cleaning staff shows up when someone checks out, to prepare the room for the next visitor. The property has great potential, but needs maintenance. We felt safe, and comfortable.

The room was comfortable and clean. They left plenty of good coffee to make a large pot each morning (decaf and regular). The area was quiet. Parking was convenient and right beside the room. The only thing I disliked was the fire pit. There was burnt wood in the pit and I didn’t see any other wood to use. I assume that you need to purchase your own. When I stayed there years ago, I believe that wasn’t the case. The fire pit at that time was my favorite part. But, I would consider staying here again in the future.

Individual cottage, clean, good amenities, walking distance from Fort Bragg Beach. The price was fair. The convenience of the location and easily able to walk my dogs. You also must take your shoes off before entering. Turn your shoes upside-down to keep moisture out. Check them to make sure nothing moved in. I recommend this location. Fort Bragg Beach was incredible.
