All round amazing.

The ladies at Solar are beyond amazing. They were extremely helpful and went over and beyond for me and my family. We were so relieved that there English speakers there which made communication that much easier. Will definitely return when in Portugal again.

This beautiful renovated farmhouse is a must if you want to get away from big city life. The town is very quiet and finding dinner is a little difficult as the hotel restaurant is currently not open in evenings. But the breakfast was amazing and all fresh. The pool is beautiful with a view of the surrounding hills. There is not much to do in the town but a piece of quiet and solitude is what we needed. We would stay here again

Sehr schönes Hotel

Freundliches Personal, sehr schönes Hotel sowie auch sehr gut eingerichtete Zimmer, ausgezeichnetes Frühstück mit regionalen Produkten. Am Abreisetag mussten wir früh los, uns wurde daher angeboten, dass wir das Frühstück bereits ab 7 Uhr einnehmen konnten (regulär ab 8.30 Uhr).

Queria conhecer a vila de origem da família de minha esposa, muito distante, no Casal Vasco, Fornos de Algodres, Distrito da Guarda! Ao pé da Srra da Estrela! Para minha surpresa encontrei o Solar dos Cáceres, lugar moderno, confortável e com maravilhosa recepção! Recomendo para quem se interesse em conhecer Portugal do interior!

Hotel elegante e limpo.

Ficamos no hotel uma noite quando conhecendo a Serra da Estrela. Chegamos ao final da tarde e usamos as bicicletas oferecidas pelo hotel para conhecer o vilarejo. O hotel era muito elegante e limpo. Ideal para uma noite de descanso.

Exceptional stay

It is beautifully designed modern hotel that has architectural elements of the old manor house. Very clean and modern in the room. The owner was extremely helpful and friendly. Breakfast was exceptionally prepared, in a pretty dining area with views of the vineyards. Overall, great hotel experience.

Hotel nuevo pero con carencias

- Falta un cubrecolchón. - Faltan dos lámparas en las mesas de noche. - Falta un posible sillón en la habitación porque está casi vacía y un mueble donde poder dejar las maletas. - Faltan toalleros en el baño ya que no hay dónde colocar las toallas. - En el baño de la habitación número 2 (que fue la nuestra) hay que atornillar el mango de la ducha y el único toallero que hay. - Faltan macetas en el exterior, el ambiente del hotel y la decoración muy fría. - Falta una televisión más grande y con más canales locales e internacionales en HD, ya que actualmente sólo hay 5. - La piscina está muy sucia y da mala imagen, o la tienen tapada o la tienen limpia aunque haga frío. - Las bicicletas están descuidadas y no funcionan bien, conviene revisarlas y comprar alguna nueva, ya que el hotel está en un sitio muy agradable que permite dar paseos en bicicleta. - El personal de recepción no habla inglés ni español, los dos idiomas importantes más importantes del mundo. - La llave de acceso al dormitorio pesa mucho y parece antigua, algo que no va acorde a la decoración de todo el hotel, debería ser una tarjeta. - En el armario de la habitación solo hay dos perchas, debería haber más. - Podría haber alguna almohada extra en el armario (hay personas como yo que las usamos más gruesas). - El frigorífico de la habitación es HORRIBLEMENTE ruidoso y tuvimos que desconectarlo por la noche. - La Iglesia que hay cerca es MUY PESADA y da las campanas ¡cada 15 MINUTOS!
