"Amazing boutique hotel, far enough away from the bustle and hustle but within easy reach of some amazing beaches and the main strip. The grounds are wonderful and the loungers super comfortable. Staff are very friendly and breakfast an artisan feast. "

"Absolutely incredible stay at Casas Brancas Hotel in Buzios. We stayed two nights in the summer and cannot speak highly enough of this place—we just wish we could have stayed longer. The staff is definitely one of the highlights. Both Juliana and Gabriel were very kind and helpful. We had an early booking for a boat trip that required us to leave the hotel at 6 a.m., and they prepared a little breakfast bag for us to take on the go. The rooms are beautiful. We had one with an ocean view and a small balcony—sublime! The food at the restaurant is delicious, as are the drinks. Breakfast is also amazing. The hotel is very well located, just 5 minutes from the center (Rua das Pedras) and about 10 minutes from some lovely beaches. The only thing I’d like to point out is that there are quite a few stairs, so keep this in mind if anyone in your party has mobility issues."

" I had a great stay at Forno Guesthouse. The room was clean and modern. The view from my pool view room was spectacular. I have stayed at several places in Buzios over the past two years. So far, for me, Forno is the best location, and I plan to stay there again because of the scenery, its proximity to the beach and City Center, and the property manager, Filipe, who understands how important customer satisfaction is. As a New Yorker, customer satisfaction is very important to me. Filipe, thank you for making my stay memorable, and a big thank you to the rest of the staff. "

"What kind of luxury resort hotel has concrete floors in the room and the bathroom? No hot water in the shower? They didn't have any soap. They insisted shampoo is just as good so gave out extra shampoo! Guess what, shampoo isn't the same, so I had to buy my own soap. The rooms open up motel style to the pool area, so lots of ants end up in the room. The pool is not maintained that great and is filled with bugs and plastic. The pool bar is okay, though. The area is in a good location, walkable to all the shopping and the beach. But there must be better options in Búzios."

"The staff spoke English and was very helpful the room was large and the bathroom was large. Location is great for the heart of town and has free parking. "

"La habitacion estaba limpia, y la gente que atiende en el restaurante es extremadamente genial y cortes pero la gente de recepcion no lo es. Estuvimos sin wifi el primer dia, no pudimos avisarle a nuestras familias que llegamos, pedimos que lo resuelvan y nos mintieron diciendo que el tecnico llegaba el primer dia. A la mañana siguiente fuimos para pedir que por favor resueltan la situacion pero el supervisor fue extremadamente grosero y nos dijo que le estabamos quitando su tiempo. A la tarde ya pedimos de nuevo ayuda y si bien el chico de recepcion nos di otro cuarto( aparentemente solo el nuestro no tenia wifi) cuando pedi compensacion me salieron con que ese cambio de habitacion era suficiente. Por favor que los entrenen porque no saben tratar con respeto a sus huespedes. Ellos arruinan el viaje asi que si te quedas aca, no esperes nada de hospitalidad por parte de ellos."

"Fiz uma reserva de última hora neste hotel em Búzios, por ser a única opção viável. Reservei um quarto Standard, que não tinha fotos disponíveis na plataforma no momento da reserva. Apesar de achar o valor alto, confiei nas imagens bonitas do Instagram do hotel. Ao chegar, a decepção foi imediata. Precisei deixar o carro na rua e o quarto ficava numa pirambeira, longe da recepção. O quarto acanhado, parecia uma dependência de empregada. A decoração da proriedade com bananeiras improvisadas é de gosto duvidoso. A academia estava com os equipamentos extremamente enferrujados — um risco à saúde. As esteiras não funcionam. A maioria dos funcionários pareciam desmotivados e mal-humorados, exceto um recepcionista atencioso que fez o nosso check-out. O café da manhã foi caótico no domingo e na segunda, melhorando apenas na terça, quando o hotel já estava quase vazio. Na última noite, o gerente nos ofereceu um quarto superior — bem melhor —, mas isso só aconteceu após ele ver um post bastante desabonador que minha esposa fez sobre o hotel no Instagram. Curiosamente, esse quarto estava mais barato que o Standard na data da nossa reserva. No fim, achei tudo caro para o que foi oferecido. As porções de tira gosto servidas no bar da piscina são mal servidas. O custo-benefício não compensa. Não pretendo voltar e aprendi a me planejar melhor para não repetir essa escolha equivocada. "
