Ottima la posizione per la visuale, si vede a distanza Sant'Angelo, nell'hotel la piscina era comoda per farsi una nuotata anche la mattina prima di colazione.

Beautiful view, convenient location

The hotel was renovated in the last year or so. Our room---especially the bathroom---seemed brand new. The room and public areas were spotlessly clean. The staff is wonderful: helpful and warm. The view of Sant'Angelo is perfect. It's quite convenient, too: right on the main street to Sant'Angelo, so public transportation is right there. Our only complaint was that the shower is quite small.

hotel piacevole, necessita manutenzione e pulizia

Struttura abbastanza gradevole, lontana dai centri commerciali ma vicina, circa 500 m., alla località di S. Angelo, a mio avviso la migliore dell'isola con un mare ahimè però piuttosto deludente. Dovrebbe esserci una maggiore cura nella manutenzione ordinaria e nella pulizia sia all'interno che all'esterno dell' Hotel (buchi alle pareti mancanti di prese elettriche, fili penzolanti in ricordo di vecchi lampadari, finestre mancanti di zanzariere e pertanto la notte si passa a caccia di zanzare). Ho soggiornato per due giorni e mio figlio, a parte la piscina, non aveva altro svago quindi sono stati sufficienti. Si consiglia un proprio mezzo di trasporto data la posizione della struttura ed anche perchè la gestione non svolge alcuna attività di svago, anche minima, per gli ospiti. Questo aspetto potrebbe essere superato anche attivando per esempio un servizio di navetta. Il personale è molto gentile e disponibile.

Buono con qualche piccola lacuna.

Ottima posizione con vista su Sant'Angelo e su Capri. Fermata degli autobus di fronte all'hotel. Personale del ristoramte disponibilissimo ed attento( grandissimi Leonardo e Ciro ), ottima cucina al costo di 10 euro a persona ( scelta tra tre primi e tre secondi ).

Singles not welcome?

On arrival no one offered to help with the luggage. The room was small with a single bed. It was furnished with Ikea type cheap furniture, all the handles were broken on the drawers and closets.No view. Necessary to keep the shutters closed as otherwise people could see into the room.The air conditioning was not working and it was around 90F degrees.They did manage to fix it after two days.The waiter in the breakfast room was obnoxious and wouldn't allow guests to sit in the attractive sunny room overlooking the terrace, apparently this was reserved for italian guests or he explained the tables were set for lunch.I really didn't see why they wouldn't let people sit in the more cheerful room, after all they had to change the settings several times at the tables in the other room.The breakfast room with the buffet was dark and the curtain behind the buffet was dirty. They didn't serve any fresh fruit although the island has exceptional and cheap fruit, instead they served canned fruit salad.I hated going to breakfast and got it over with as soon as possible.As for the room,frankly, I felt that I was given the worst room in the hotel, as I saw others that were much nicer with beautiful views.I don't know if it was because I was a single woman or because of the Hotel.com rate. But actually the rate was higher than other nicer hotels in the area, so I just figure it was my single status.

Ottimo per vacanza senza troppe pretese

Tutti disponibili e simpatici. Gestione casalinga. Attenzione agli ospiti. Ottima la piscina termale. DIsta un paio di km dal vicino Sant'Angelo, bellissimo paesino, collegato con autobus. Con il motorino, noleggiabile, è perfetto muoversi!

Excellent value for money

This is a lovely hotel in a marvellous position with a stunning view of the area of Sant'Angelo. Definitely the best part of the island. The rooms are fairly simple but functional and clean with fantastic air conditioning and a fairly spacious bathroom. The pool is small but clean and beautifully positioned with a sea view. The " mezza pensione " in the restaurant is only €10 - and for that price what you get is amazing! A four course meal with a choice for each course with lots of local fish. Not near a beach BUT the bus stop is right outside and we never waited more than 10 minutes for a very efficient service that serves the whole island. There is a great little mini-market 50 metres from the hotel where you can buy anything you need - including sandwiches for lunch made while you wait. The staff are efficient and friendly and the general atmosphere is relaxed. For a 3 star hotel, considering the very low price, it really is excellent!
