"We stay here every year for 3 nights. It has always felt welcoming, with helpful reception staff - especially Philippa, who makes us feel at home! We love where it is situated on The Leas, so easy to walk to Sandgate, into town or down to the harbour. A perfect hotel!"

"We had a 'cozy' room, meaning tiny, but it was nicely furnished with a TV and nice bathroom with a strong shower. The receptionist staff was friendly and helpful, pointing out the happy hour at the bar. 2 for 1 deal plus a cheese plate. The hotel is centrally located with parking behind ( parking in Canterbury is expensive). Very close to the town center and restaurants. Decent breakfast choices. The 14th century building successfully marries old and modern."
