The host was so welcoming. He and his wife made us feel right at home. We immediately felt comfortable and like we weren’t just guests in their home but long time friends. Their hospitality was so appreciated. And the home made breads, yogurt, and preserves didn’t hurt either!! 😉 Highly recommend!

Calme et volupté

Au calme devant un paysage vert malgré la fin d'été, les terrasses de Gaumier sont accueillantes et agréables. L'accueil est très sympathique. La piscine est bien agréable. Le petit déjeuner est copieux, la cuisine sentait fort bon mais nous n avons pas goûté, mangeant en famille par ailleurs.

Tollstes Hotel mit genialstem Service. Wenn man hier her fährt werden die Straßen schmal und etwas holprig. Man bekommt schon auf dem Weg das Gefühl von Urlaub und Erholung. Das Haus liegt an einer schmalen Straße auf der alle par Stunden wer langsam vorbei kommt. Parken kann man kostenlos direkt am Haus. Der Empfang ist warm und herzlich, man hat sofort das Gefühl nachhause zu kommen. Unser Zimmer wird uns vom Chef des Hauses, Jean-Marie, persönlich gezeigt. Wow dachte ich mir. Sehr geräumig, großes Fenster. Sehr stilvoll mit Antiquitäten eingerichtet. Ein großes, sehr bequemes Bett, schönes Bad und alles sauber. Durch die dicken Wände wird es nicht zu heiß. Aus dem Fenster sieht man unten den schönen und sehr gepflegten Pool und eine große Wiese, dahinter das Flüsschen mit Bäumen. Nachts hört man mal eine Kuh oder ein Käuzchen. Jean-Marie unterrichtete uns noch über das Frühstück und die Möglichkeit des Abendessens. Das Frühstück war ein Erlebnis der wirklich besonderen Art. Martine, die Dame des Hauses steht in der Küche. Und was Martine aus der Küche sendet ist ein Genuss, egal was sie da tut. Mehrere Brote, frisch gebacken. Hausgemachte Marmeladen, mit dem Obst aus der Garten. Aufstrich von Wahlnuss und Schokolade, Hausgemacht. Dann gibt es mal Pfannkuchen mal Crêpes mal Waffeln. Frischer Kaffee, Orangensaft, Obst, eben typisch französisch. Ich hasse eigentlich in Hotels das Frühstück, aber hier freute ich mich täglich, denn es war einfach nur erstklassig und genial. An

La maison et ses lieux sortent d’un livre d’histoire. Les propriétaires sont sympa et nous ont accueilli à bras ouverts malgré notre réservation dernière-minute. Chambre au décor charmant et lit bien comfortable. Ils nous ont réservé une table au restaurant voisinant pour le dîner et ont recommandé des superbes lieux à explorer dans cette région enchantée.
