This was a good spot to pick. Walking distance from the train station. Walking distance to all the big sites and the river. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Clean and spacious room. Very basic breakfast delivered to rooms on a morning (coffee, croissants). Building is echos so can hear clearly when other people arrive. We tried to have an early night after an early flight and we couldn’t sleep until staff stopped talking in fence corridor and there was a screaming child for a few hours that was very clear from our room. I know they can’t be helped but just something to be aware of. Location was very good.

Astro at reception was great, very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Being able to leave my luggage before checkin was a brilliant benefit and allowed me to fully have a relaxing day exploring city. Morning cappuccino was tasty, however, breakfast is an elevated term for a simple croissant or toast, with juice and coffee. To enter you need to call a number and it should unlock the door automatically, however, in any configuration my phone wouldn't connect even though it recognised it as a number in Florence Italy. There were a couple of minor things I noticed with housekeeping - a big black hair in my towel bundle, amber staining on the shower floor, the space between the door stopper and the wall in the bathroom hadn't seen a brush in some time. The property seems to be single glazed and opposite a police station, so there is some noise from the street. It didn't stop me sleeping but others may mind it more. Nothing to make a scene about, but some attention to detail for the future. I would stay again as the location was super and the AC & bed gave the perfect rest.

Would not recommend. Building is very decrepit and poorly maintained, even by Florence standards. My room didn’t have towels, had to use my clothes to dry myself off after traveling all day. Check in process unnecessarily convoluted. Sink was clogged. I’d look elsewhere.

Located near the train station, and the Arno, this is in a great spot. I had a little difficulty finding the hotel as the numbers on one side of the street don’t correspond with the other, but once I did, it was easy. You call a phone number to open the street door, then use a code to open the door to the hallway of rooms. Then you use a code to open the lockbox holding your keys. It sounded a lot more complicated than it turned out to be. The room was lovely, overlooking the street (but it wasn’t too loud). Fridge, chairs/table, and a very comfortable bed. Breakfast in the morning if you sign up on the google form (link should be sent via email) with great cappuccino/cornetto. The office is staffed in the mornings until early afternoon, and everyone was extremely helpful and kind. I would stay here again!
