I understand this hotel is pet friendly but the sofa couch cushions were stained with animal pee very badly. They should have been clean because it was a bed to sleep in. The sheet on the pull out couch was dirty. We asked for new sheets and also for a few extra pillows due to having a 3rd person. They said they were out of pillows. Really? When I said the couch cushions were all stained the woman at the desk said- this is a pet friendly hotel & it stated that when you booked. Very unfriendly. I work in guest service so I know this shouldn’t be their norm.
The appearance of the facility was okay but inside the room... I believe housekeeping only emptied the trash and made the beds before we checked in. The mini fridge had a thawed out leaking (previously) frozen meal in it. The bathtub was slick from a prior guests products. The bathroom floor was sticky and greasy. There was caked up dirt behind the bathroom door in the corner of the floor. The pillows were either hard as a rock or so soft it was like nothing.

Liked: Staff & service
Very friendly staff. The only slightly negative thing was upon entering the room I went to check the AC unit and noticed a partially filled water bottle laying on the window sill. Everything else seemed clean except for this. Comfortable beds and clean bathroom
The room was very dirty. Shower was gross, the wall behind the toilet looked like it’s never been cleaned before, dried urine on the wall, the floor was sticky, outside of microwave was dirty, mini fridge door was sticky, dust and dirt everywhere.
Front staff was friendly but room was filthy hair and urine on the toilet, floors filthy. We slept in our clothes and left without even taking a shower because there was hair on the towels. Property is way past its prime and there are plenty of other options in Florence. Don’t say I didn’t warn you.
