Dario was a lovely + welcoming host! The hotel room was very nice, full of character and ours had an outdoor seating area. The space was very clean and easy to access. Location is slightly removed from the city center but allowed for relaxed sleep at the end of the day. A very good option for a reasonably priced stay if you are also picky like me!

I had one do the most amazing stay. The place is incredibly beautiful, clean and felt like a home experience. Dario was incredibly nice and spent time to give me the local recommendations to food, gelato and site seeing. Couldn’t thank him enough

Loved my room and the location was good. Super noisy every night from the street and the last morning a service truck ran its engine non stop from 5-7:30am outside my window. No breakfast or coffee but some are nearby. Staff was helpful.

Guest House Morandi was a highlight stay during our trip! From the moment we entered we felt very welcomed by Dario, the lobby space is beautiful, and the neighbourhood is very peaceful despite being in very close proximity to all tourist highlights. The room was perfect and had all needed amenities with a very comfortable bed. Highly recommend and hope to return!

was ok if you are looking for a decent and affordable place to stay within 11 mins. walking distance from Florence duomo. Basically 12 rooms occupying the second level of the building. The building looks old but the room is clean and bathroom is clean and renovated. You can hear all the noise of the next room and the room above. The staff is friendly and excellent, can speak english as well.

Convenient location. Staff is super friendly and accommodating. They gave us complimentary water which was a huge bonus in the summer. Rooms are clean and high security. We even had a balcony with seating. Highly recommend!

Dario, the hotel staff, was amazing! Very welcoming, provided us with great direction from Rome to the hotel, places of interest and food in the area, areas to avoid etc. Truly wonderful. I had the most fabulous stay here! From the moment I arrived, the front desk staff treated me with so much kindness! it truly shows how much they care about their guests. Dario, in particular, was absolutely incredible and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. The room was impeccably clean, comfortable, and made me feel right at home. The location couldn’t be better! nothing was more than a short 15–20 minute walk away, and our favorite spots were all close by, with bus stops conveniently nearby as well. I honestly wouldn’t stay anywhere else if I come back to Florence. This place is a gem!

Our stay at the Guest House Morandi was an absolute delight! We were unaware when we booked it that it had been a former convent, which was interesting. The room we had was comfortable, clean and quiet, which was welcomed after spending a few days in the hustle and bustle of Rome. Centrally located near the Duomo, Academia and also not far from the Uffizi, the location made it easy to walk to most if not all the attractions. And if we were feeling a little lazy, there was a taxi station within 200 meters. Staff was friendly and it was nice that all the entrances used codes so we didn't have to worry about keys. Shower stall was a bit small, but the water pressure and temperature were good. The only misleading thing was that on Expedia it claims to have laundry onsite, but they don't. There's a laundromat about a 5 minute walk away, but nothing on property. Would definitely stay again.
