It is a great location and great space, no elevators but doable. Good AC and bed, staff was very nice, especially Julia was very helpful and super nice and welcoming.

Right next to the train station. Easy access to most of the city attractions. Good price and only great for a short stay like one or two days. Property is nicer!!

Hotel is 2 min walk from train station which was convenient. We found the photos looked nothing like the room we stayed in. If you have luggage, be warned as there are no elevators. We found the bed to be uncomfortable and the bathroom was not to standard (shower door was coming off and there was mold)

The property is under construction and the entrance is dirty. Location is great bedside the bus and train terminal. Main floor room you hear all the street noise and the main door opening and closing at all hours. It’s a great location to travel around other towns near Florence. It’s convenient and budget friendly. Staff were great and very helpful.

We stayed at Bella Firenze during our Italy trip with kids in Sep 2024. Hotel is walking distance from train station, has good facilities and staff , spacious room. Recommend this hotel for stay in Florence.

It is a good hotel and I would stay there again. It was a bit confusing at first to get in necause you need a code, but the staff were very friendly overall. Great AC, and it had a mini fridge (not common in Italy).

It was ok. Clean enough but could really use a fresh coat of paint and some new grout in the bathroom. Also it’s rather noisy if you get a room facing the street as it is right next to some kind of bus station. It didn’t prevent me from getting a good night’s sleep.

Fast easy check in as soon as I arrived. Marco explained very clearly how to access the building after hours and carried my baggage upstairs for me. Excellent location right across from the train station Santa Maria Novella made it perfect for travelling in and out of Florence by train. I was able to get everywhere on foot, but there are lots of public transportation stops for those who prefer bus or tram.

Hotel was unattended B&B without the second B. No breakfast, no front desk. Close to the train station, but SUPER EXPENSIVE for no services. View of heating/AC system. Check in girl was very nice. No cold water, which is unusual.

This hotel is basically 2 minutes away from the Santa María Novella Train station. It is nota convencional hotel, it is more like a big Airbnb. You have a code to.open the door and from there ho to your room. It includes light breakfast and staff is friendly. At the tiny reception there is hardly anyone. For check-in they live uour key and instructions by rhe reception desk and if you need anything there is a number to call. It can get a little noicy because of the train but since we were really tired it didn't bother us at all. It is at 15 minute walk from the Duomo which it's very convenient.

OK ,Get what you pay for ,Almost

Stay was Ok,The Manager Marco was very obliging and helpful but it stopped there ,The room a single, Was the size of a postage stamp and very crowed once I had my large suitcase in there ,The shower is clean but very small ,Kept on banging my arms trying to lather up, I had paid extra for a room including breakfast ,However I was advised the first morning that Breakfast service was not available ,No compensation was offered and was told to use the bar on the corner,The hotel has NO LiFT so be warned if you have heavy luggage and are on the second floor as I was ,However the Hotel is across the road from the main rail station and is very central also there is a Tram from the airport to almost the front door of the hotel which is much cheaper than a taxi but be prepared to fight the millions of tourists apart from that ,The hotel is clean enough by Italian standards but don’t expect luxury or possibly a breakfast .

Horrible experience - would give a zero if I could

This was a bad experience. Really, the only positive side to this property is the location near the train station. The condition of the building is bad. If you have heavy bags get ready to lift them up by yourself because there is no elevator - only a lot of steep stairs. The only relatively good experience was with the lady that cleans the rooms. Toilet was broken and it leaked. Bed sheets were not clean. You can readily notice that they never wash the bed decorations. There was a really bad sewer smell at the entrance, and the hotel is right in front of 2 bus stops so the noise starts from the very early morning. If you get the first floor room you are in bad luck because of the lack of insulation to the weather and to the sound. Staff service is so limited. The hotel's owner does not afford a full-time staff so if you find yourself needing something you are in bad luck because the staff is rarely there. If you are smart - you will stay away from this property.

Not the best night in Florence

This was a weird stay. Communication was good, and the attendant notified me what the door code was and that my key would be at the front desk when I arrived. Although it was helpful to have that information, it was a little alarming to know that anyone who came into the building could have taken our key. The pillow was unfortunately the most uncomfortable thing I’ve ever laid my head on. My friend and I were departing at different times and she left for her train first. Minutes after her leaving, the attendant burst into my room without knocking. I was still in bed! Lastly, the signage in the room states that checkout is 11am. My train was at 11:30 so was planning to take every minute to relax. At 10:30 the desk manager called to tell me to check out! This place is across the street from the train station and that was about the only good quality. Don’t expect much from the Hotel Bella
