Yes—the view of the dome (the Duomo!) from the bedroom window is real, and it’s absolutely incredible. I was skeptical when booking, assuming the photo might be from a different apartment or listing, but it’s the actual view from this place. Waking up to that sight every morning was unforgettable.
The location couldn’t be better. You’re right in the heart of Florence—about 10 minutes to the Duomo, 20 to the Ponte Vecchio, and 30 to Piazzale Michelangelo for sunset. It’s a busy area, which means there’s constant activity, but also endless restaurants, shops, cafés, and bars just steps from the front door.
The apartment itself is incredibly spacious—far bigger than similarly priced places we stayed in Rome and Venice. We’re a family with three teenagers, and the layout worked perfectly: the boys shared the room with two beds, and our daughter had her own room. The living and kitchen areas were comfortable and well-sized for relaxing at the end of each day. It’s on the fourth floor, and while there is an elevator, we usually took the stairs.
The property managers deserve a special mention. I texted them just 30 minutes before arrival and they met us right at the apartment to drop bags early. Their office is just a 1–2 minute walk away, and someone was always available. That made checking in and storing bags before/after a breeze. They also gave great local food recommendations—everything we tried was fantastic.
Highly recommend this apartment.
