We stayed at B&B De’Biffi for two nights in Florence and absolutely loved it! The location is perfect—right in the heart of the city—and the room was spotless, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. The receptionist was warm, welcoming, and the Breakfast was delicious and made us feel right at home. The only thing to note for future guests is that parking can be tricky. We paid €30 per night, and both the hotel and parking garage are located within the ZTL (limited traffic) zone, so it’s important to plan ahead to avoid fines. Overall, this was an amazing stay and we would happily return on our next visit to Florence!

The staff were great, let us check in early and even helped us find another place to book after we left. It is a bit hard to find, but should not be a deterrent. Just buzz the button that has the name and walk up the stairs until you get to the door with the name on it. Great place, good location too. Very helpful staff. And breakfast in the morning.

The name was prominately displayed on the building so we had no problem locating the property. Reception is located on the second floor of a renovated building.This was not a bad thing, just different. There is a small elevator that made moving between floors easier.Staff were very accommodating with directions and assistance with transportation. Check in and out was fast and worry free. The breakfast was basically anything you wanted. We had bacon and eggs, fresh fruit, pastry and cappuccino each morning. It was delicious and delivered to our room each morning. The room and bathroom were very clean, actually spotless. We found the mattress to be quite firm and there was a minor glitch with the TV that was quickly resolved. It was conveniently located near the Duomo, restaurants and shopping.

Overall this met our needs. Nothing fancy but good size room, clean, comfortable and a great location. They offer a limited breakfast for a fee. We went out- there is a cafe right next store. Staff was only on site part time. The facility is in an apt building - the public entry on the first floor could use a refresh. But overall it was OK.

Beautiful... and LOUD!

This property was very cute, clean and had a great location in Florence. It was steps away from the Duomo, and was everything the listing promised. However, regardless of being on the 4th floor, it was exceptionally loud. I felt like I was trying to sleep in the middle of the street next to a crowded bar. I made sure the windows were closed and closed the shutters also, but the noise level was crazy high. I also had no way to control the ac in the room, which got really warm. I was in the room next to the entrance, and heard everything outside the door and every time someone came in or out. I put on headphones and played ocean sounds to try to help me sleep. This helped until anyone would drive down the street which was so loud, I could hear it through my headphones. I got no sleep the first night. So, even though I booked two nights, I made other arrangements with a friend and only stayed there the one night.

Friendly hotel in a perfect location

The staff are so friendly and lovely, which isn't always the case in Italy. It's in a perfect location, 2 minutes walk to the Piazza del Duomo and 10 minutes from the train station. The room was homely and comfortable with a comfy bed and nice hot shower. What more could you ask for? Would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful location. Very friendly staff. Very clean. Having a kitchen to use was convenient although we were slightly confused over breakfast arrangements, our own fault, we should have asked if we had to order additional items from the cafe below. Plastic mattress covers make you hot in bed and spare toilet roll would be useful. Overall these were minor details and the overall B&B and staff were absolutely fabulous. Would recommend to family and friends.

Best thing about this property is its location - so close to the city center! The room was quite spacious and clean and the staff were really friendly. What we did not like is that the lift did not work and that the screen in the shower only covered half of the shower so you can't shower without making a big puddle on the floor

Good location

We liked the location. Really close to the Santa Maria del Fiore, Il Duomo and Baptistery. We passed by them everyday, and one night we just walked around the plaza to enjoy the street musicians, and relax. It is also walking distance to Santa Maria Novella station. We were able to walk to most sights/monuments, so the location was very convenient. The hotel itself is on the 3rd floor of a building, and there is no elevator. If you plan to stay here, you should be able to carry your luggage up, and also would not mind going up and down the stairs. You have to use old-fashioned keys to enter, so make sure you have your keys with you when you get out and don't lose them. The staff are nice and friendly. We were out most of the day and left early, so we did not order breakfast or room service. They provided a hot water pot for making tea, and little snacks in the kitchen. One thing we would suggest to be corrected is the bathroom. There is no curtain or door so water spilled out to the bathroom floor. Despite the inconveniences, we still liked our stay there because of the location.

Perfect option for staying downtown Florence

Pros: The place was very close to everything you possibly want to see in Florence. Room was spacious with a very comfortable bed nice bathroom. Basic, but nice breakfast (croissant and coffee/tea). Stuff was nice and check in and out was fast. Cons: The elevator was not stopping on the 2nd floor where the hotel was located. We had a heavy suitcase and a baby stroller- we did not mind to carry these up, but it may be a problem for somebody else. This surely needs a fix. There was no shower curtain in the bathroom, so everything got wet in the bathroom- this should be an easy fix. It also was not clear that we need to pay additional 2.5 Euro/person/day for local tourist tax in addition of the expedia price. This should be marked clearly.

Florence en Famille

Escapade de 3 jours en famille (avec notre fils de 13 mois) pour visiter Florence. Le plus de l'hôtel cest l'emplacement, à 2 min du ventre de Florence et sans toucher la voiture (parking à 25€/jour). Ca nous a permis de faire de belle balade tout en revenant à l'hôtel assez rapidement (sieste du petit). L'inconvénient c'est le chargement et le déchargement de la voiture, en plein centre forcément cest du sport. L'hôtel est au deuxième étage avec ascenseur. Le personnel est accueillant. Seul bémol le petit déjeuner est servie qu'à partir de 8h30, un peu tardif à mon goût.
