「The room was ok, but missed airconditioning. The staff is not very helpful and they only speak French, they even do not try to speak English or try to help you. When you run a hotel and only speak French that is not the way to do. Food is good, taste and quality.」

Obwohl Französisch ihre Muttersprache ist und wir selbst nur sehr wenig Französisch sprechen, konnten wir uns problemlos auf Französisch, Englisch und sogar ein wenig Deutsch mit ihnen unterhalten. 「Very basic hotel, the double bed was quite small. Friendly staff but we don’t speak any French and no one spoke English so we struggled to make ourselves understood - they did their best though. Great food in onsite restaurants 」

「Room spotless. Comfortable bed & lovely bathroom. But awfully small. Could only open 1 bag at a time. Check in instructions only came through 10mins before our arrival. Just not good enough for us. But all in all (& for the price) was excellent. Chaumont is a beautiful town. Buffalo Grill brilliant!!」

「The staff was very helpful but we were very disappointed about the overall condition of the hotel and rooms which were very tired and in the process of being renovated. The restaurant was closed as a consequence. We paid quite a lot for the room much more than was advertised locally and had no knowledge of the disruption. Nothing on Expedia. Will think twice about using Expedia again. Don't like being taken for a ride.」

「Perfect for a quick overnight stay. Bfast is advised to head for a local Boulangerie or LIDL just a few metres away. Place was very clean. It suits low budget accommodation.」
