Our only interaction with staff personally, was at breakfast, which was delicious. We had a great conversation with one of the staff who gave us some fantastic advice and information in preparation for our visit to Edinburgh later that day. 「Situated in the very centre of Kelso, convenient place to stay when exploring the area. Checkin was done very easily, with clear instructions sent beforehand. There is a Greggs just in front of the hotel, and also several restaurants and takeaways in close vicinity. There was double glazing in the room, and hence better insulation. 」

「Was a lovely experience staying on an overnight. All staff were just amazing. Had dinner and breakfast the next morning. The bar was well used by locals. Great atmosphere. Our room was absolutely gorgeous.」

「Every where in the hotel was very clean and well presented, the dining room was spacious and comfortable, breakfasts were amazing. The bar was also good and although we didn't eat the food looked good. The hotel and bar are very dog friendly. Everyone was warm and welcoming, we really enjoyed our stay. If in the area we would definitely stay here again」

「Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Comfy bed, spacious room, great shower. Food choice was good. Downside the amount of curry my wife had could of been more plentiful. My teriyaki fish needed more seasoning, I don't usually add salt or pepper to meals but in this case had to. Saying that my 2 friends steak and linguine was apparently lovely. The full English was exceptionally good and plentiful 」
