「We had an awesome trip! This time was a girls trip, we left the men , the kids , and grandkids at home ! Everyone was so nice ! Our room, aka our apartment, was awesome! We 50something grannies never wanted to leave. We were so relaxed. Our room was so peaceful. We cannot wait to bring the family back, but also we can’t wait for our next girls trip.」

「We stayed in Megs Boarding House for my birthday weekend. Didnt help that it rained and a cold front came thru. But didnt stop us from utilizing the pool. I dont think id stay in megs boarding house again though and would definitely upgrade to a newer cabin. But glad i got to experience staying in there. Was very adorable, but walls are super thin and we were upstairs and man those stairs are steep ...and i get it...its old fashioned megs boarding house lol. But there was even dirt marked on the...

「The property was nice and quiet. I see a lot of construction around and am happy to see all the new areas that are being adding to the property. We did enjoy our stay even though we arrived late and left early the next day. I feel we did not have time to adequately enjoy all the offerings.」

「For the price it was a great place to stay. You are only minutes away from lots of activities and it is right on the river with a large deck to sit back and relax.」

「They are remodeling so it will improve. I would like to see more available at breakfast… This morning they had biscuits & gravy, muffins, bagels or cereal. No fruit. No protein. All carbs. Would also like to see a vent fan in the bathroom. That aside, it was great and we will stay again.」

「This cute hideaway ranch is just what you need if you seek some peace and quiet. The cabin was very comfortable and the owner was very accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble. The coffee, tea, water, other beverages, as well as towels, robes, bathroom supplies were all very inviting and appreciated. There was even a sample of their homegrown honey. 」

「All the facilities were very clean and neat. There were deer in the pond when we opened our room door in the morning to the beautiful sunshine. The breakfast was delicious. We really enjoyed our stay. The only thing I would change would be the staff free check in. Some travelers may appreciate that, but it made it seem unwelcoming and more like an rental property. 」

「I finally made it to my room a bit late. I had some quick issues with the temp and television settings. I sent a text to Jim (the owner), and he helped me get comfortable for the night. I loved the personal touch you do not see as good as in large hotel chains. Personalized touch with better shampoo, had wet wipes to use, little things like Listerine to use. I met Jim in the morning and thanked him for all the great hospitality. Very nice and genuine man.」
