I’ve stayed at The Hancock Hotel in Findlay twice now, and both experiences have been excellent. This beautiful, historically inspired property feels far more upscale than its price suggests — truly a hidden gem offering boutique-level comfort at about a Holiday Inn rate. The rooms are elegant, the atmosphere warm and refined, and the service consistently attentive. While the valet parking can seem a bit pricey for the area, the overall experience more than makes up for it. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Findlay — it’s easily one of the best stays in Northwest Ohio.

Many items went wrong: 1. I tried to check in, however, since my wife paid with her Credit Card, they would not allow me to check in. I have never had an issue like this. In addition, the front desk agent was unprofessional. 2. There was no description that indicated that the parking was valet only and the cost to park was $30. This is just a hidden hotel fee in my opinion. Very deceptive. Would not have selected this hotel if I knew this was the case. 3. The ice machines were not working. 4. The walls were paper thin. We woke up at 1am to the guest in the room next to us blaring the TV. Although the security took care of it, this was very disruptive to our sleep. 5. The compressor on the mini fridge had an issue and every time it came on, there was a high-pitched sound similar to a fire alarm. 6. For such a supposedly "up-scaled" hotel the towels were more appropriate for a car wash. Poor quality, size and only two towels were provided! We had very little sleep, hidden charges, and the guest service agent was unprofessional. Not the place we want to return to. Very dissapointing.

We were in Findlay Ohio for an arts event and stayed at the Hancock Hotel. This was a first class stay at a first class hotel. Everything was very high end at a very reasonable price. It's great to see a full service restaurant, every amenity you might need, and attentive and helpful staff. We would recommend this facility for work or play.

This property was amazing! The front desk and valet staff were so accommodating. I was there Jan 9-11 and was surprised to see that there were still Christmas decorations were still on display. I loved the small town and cozy feel of this property!

First time staying here and to say the least I was not impressed. The hotel was extremely busy and parking was Valet only. No problem with that but it was New Year’s Eve one of the busiest night of the year and they only had two people working valet. Those workers were working their tails off and you could tell they were trying their best. Props to you guys! I checked in at 4pm and I was told my room was not ready. Not a problem. It would be maybe 30 minutes. I checked back in after 30 minutes. After checking multiple times. Almost two hours later the room was ready. My group missed our 6pm dinner reservation. And the plans for the evening were already at a downfall and rushed at this point. I get up to the room. The room appears clean for the most part but there was what looked like fruit snacks on the floor in the corner. Bits of paper here and there as well. But I had just waited 2 hours for my room there was no way I was getting a different room at this point. The next morning again. Valet was backed up and those two workers were working their tails off. We were not going to be able to get our cars until at least another hour if not more there was so many people in the lobby all waiting on valet. So we got our keys and walked to the garage ourselves and got our cars. Not impressed with the lack of preparation, cleanliness and lack of communication throughout the stay.

The reservations staff corrected an error in our reservation without any issues or hassle. We would have been out hundreds of dollars if they had not helped us. We really appreciated the customer service focus.
