"Hotel 100% recomendado. Está en un lugar espectacular.., cerca de todas las cosas emblemáticas. Además el shuttle del tren al hotel, totalmente gratis, tiene la parada justo frente al hotel. El staff amable, cortés y profesional. Gracias y nos vemos pronto!!!"

"Despite its location on a busy street, this hotel is centrally located, near the river, and the historic city center. Highly insulated, the small, but efficient, rooms are quiet and comfortable. The buffet breakfast is superb, served in a beautiful, light-filled penthouse room. The roofdeck, on a moonlight night is a plus. "

"Parking is extra but very convenient. Well located to get into the heart of city by foot."

"Rooms are tiny but clean. The shared kitchen is nice to have though we didn't cook. You must be comfortable with self check-in and texting for information. The app was slow to send through so that was a little annoying (that is, I had a quick response according to the time stamp, but the app didn't push it through for hours). Parking is free if you are willing to walk but it's probably better than driving in the medieval streets! Overall, good for a night or two."

"We very much enjoyed our stay at Solar Antigo in Coimbra. It’s one of the most uniquely decorated places we’ve stayed! Great location on a narrow street inside the city walls, which made it a bit challenging to find. The room was large and very clean and comfortable. The staff could not have been nicer and took good care of us."

"This boutique hotel is a gem! Very cute. The staff is very helpful and friendly. We liked having dining option right there - we had lunch on the lovely patio outside. The hotel was quiet, tucked in on a side road. Very convenient location to everything, including walking to University of Coimbra. Rooms were clean and modern, kind of bare bones, minimalism, but fine."

"When we arrived, the room we had was awful, bathroom tiles/ grout were dirty and moldy. Toilet and sink were ok. Overall a dingy room. My friend went to front desk to see if we could have another room, she was told not possible, hotel was booked. We figured it just 2 nights, we’ll bare it. Off we went to visit Coimbra. Upon our return (6 hours later) we noticed the AC was not working. Went to front desk, let them know we had an issue, a staff member came up to room to see what the issue was. She was very nice but unable to get it working. Eventually we were given another room, much better and bigger,1 king bed and single bed. However the bathroom tiles were awful as well. The water pressure is great and the towels are thick and absorbent."
