"Darif's Riad is a serene and comfortable place to make your home base while in Fes. Service is wonderful and friendly. The property is beautiful and has great ambiance. The only negative was I found the breakfast and one dinner I had there to be lacking, I was expecting better."

We got up at 5.30am to get shots without people. If you like this angle you need to head to the roof of the Cascade Hotel. For a few dirhams the sleepy doorman will let you in and lead you up. A luxury riad nestled in the old medina of Fes, which is a UNESCO world heritage site, is walking distance to so much of the old medina to discover - shopping, foods, markets, restaurants. This is where we ate breakfast in the morning. I know...hard to handle ;)
