AWFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My daughter is still staying there for several weeks until the remodel is complete on her house. This has not been a positive experience! The first room which she had to move from the floor in the bathroom area was 'squishy' from ? Then the toilet seat broke in her 2nd room they would not replace it and wanted her to move again after settling into the room for 1 1/2 weeks. NOW the WIFI does not work and she can't do her work online!!!!! She is looking for some where else to go at present. THIS IS A TERRIBLE PLACE TO STAY FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE, I suggest removing this place from ;your list.

Hotel stay

I like this hotel for the convience ,l don't really appreciate how dirty the outside it, the last time I stayed there the garbage was piled up outside and was still there the next morning. But the rooms are clean ( if not a little hodgepodge ) and the beds comfortable and that is all I was using the room for, sleep, and the beds are really good.

Renovated Rooms

Nice, clean and it seems recently renovated. At least our room was. The clerk was nice and answered some questions about our road trip. We stayed there on our way from Canada to San Francisco.

Room was clean. Exterior of bldg. was a little below average and the grounds were deplorable. Garbage everywhere. The grassy area in front of the motel was absolutely covered with dog piles. C'mon, it cannot cost that much to pick up garbage, dirty diapers and dog crap. Won't stay again.

When we arrived at 6.30 pm , no one was there in the office. We I called the number on the door I was informed that the clerk was getting something to eat and would return in 10 minutes. He returned and all was well . Our room was clean and recently renovated.

Motel 6 - not as well kept as usual

It just needs some cleanup outside. Garbage around. Online it said it was completely booked but we found that hard to believe judging by the amount of vehicles. This was really nice for us though, quiet (especially the second night). We were graciously given a different room as a crying baby was in the room adjacent to us the first night. Love the location - quiet, by a river, secluded.

Checked in to the hotel around 4pm, then met our family in birch bay for the evening. Came back to our room at 11pm and the key would not work. Tried and tried to get into the room and finally an angry person answered the door to the room and said it was his room even though we had checked in earlier. Thankfully when we checked in we didn’t leave any of our belongings in the room. And thankfully they happened to have one room left. Was not impressed - pee on the shower curtain, dirty, no clock, one towel, nothing but a sheet and blanket on the bed.

Good for the price

Basic amenities, but we didn't have shampoo or kleenex supplied. Was alright cause we had luckily brought our own. Was really awesome to have a microwave and fridge though! Was quiet and conveniently close to the I-5 highway, restaurants and big bargin grocery store. Also seemed cleaner and more spacious having laminent floors and not carpet. We would go back!

Didn't stay - Hotels.com reservation never made it to the propety. 2,5hrs on the phone with ”cusomter service” @ hotels.com and I ended up having to go find another hotel on my own! It's doubtful I will be using hotels.com again. Motel 6 was very ”worn” in appearance, a fairly undesirable area of town and did not appear in very good repair. Alex at the front desk was as helpful as possible given the circumstances but with other options nearby I would consider those in the future over this particular location.

We got to the motel at 5pm to check in. The man said our room wouldn’t be ready for a while. I confirmed that check in started at 3pm but apparently our room wasn’t clean yet. We were told to return in 45 minutes. We got back at 6pm to find almost a dozen people standing around. The office was locked! I called the phone number and was told he was not n his way. 10 minutes later he finally showed up, he had gone to get dinner. The bed was comfortable and the price was fine but I wouldn’t recommend this place just due to the freaking hassle of checking in. I would have stayed somewhere else but everything was booked.

Customer service was terrible. I booked the room through Hotels.com and paid more than the room should have been. When I asked for a receipt I was given a receipt with a different total and different credit card. I am positive I was provided the wrong information. I called the desk to ask about it and all he kept saying was I received the right room and wouldn't answer my question. The room was not provided with any shampoo or conditioner, one tiny bar of soap and not enough towels. There also was not a coffee maker or blow dryer in the room, which are listed as amenities for this hotel. The kid at the front desk was more involved with hanging out with his buddy rather than helping the guests. He also wasn't able to provide information as to what was in the area. The hotel is provided in a decent area, but if you look this one up through Google, the first article that pops up is about a shooting that occurred there a couple of months ago. A but startling for someone that stayed with children there. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone and will definitely shell out the additional $20-$30 to stay at a different hotel in the area. This is a trip we have to make once a year and I was very dissatisfied with the whole experience. Positives: the bed was comfortable but did not have comforters, only sheets.

The front desk person was not knowledgeable, the room was ok the bed was not comfortable and very aqueaky, the pullows were uncomfortable and there was only one towel in the bathroom the rest were outside the bathroom so if there is more than one person they would have trouble.
