"The image that they have up on Expedia about what their room looks like is 100% NOT their property!!! The room is ancient and smelled weird and the pillows were old, flat, and lumpy! The lobby, pool, and picnic area is nice and accurately pictured. The area of town isn’t nice either. The breakfast choices were scant. And the power went out so there was no way to make a frozen waffle or easily pack up when we went back to the room! My main complaint was the fact that the misrepresented the room!! "

"It’s convenient but the beds are a little too hard for me and my husband felt the same way although they room rooms are really clean and it’s convenient for being a Casino you also get breakfast coupons. And they give you a couple waters in the refrigerator that are complementary. "

"The experience was horrible, homeless everywhere and on our first night a person high on something was pounding on our door in the middle of the night and another homeless man on drugs pulled the fire alarm people screaming in the middle of the night I would not recommend this place to anyone and I will never return here also Omar add charges after checking out that we’re not on our itemized list so double check your bill don’t trust this hotel "

"The room was sold as having a fireplace and hot tub, it had neither. The fireplace was broken and made a buzzing sound. The hot tub was a bathtub plonked down in the middle of the bedroom. We had no maid services the whole time and wasn’t told until the last night that we had to ask for maid service or clean towels. The a/c didn’t work at night and all the fans were so loud you couldn’t hear. Everything clanked around like it hadn’t been serviced in years. It wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t good either "

"Clean room and bathroom. Wish there had been soap or salts for bathtub. Property could use a good clean up outside, windows, porch etc. Food was excellent as was tea time. Staff was very accommodating."

"The Victorian Inn is owned and operated by a family who are there daily and it shows. People are very friendly and happy as a great vibe breakfast in the morning is very nice freshly baked scones and fruit. The hotel itself has been beautifully restored and maintained a beautiful example of a Victorian building. The bar and restaurant downstairs is great so handy to have a nice supper at the Inn. You can walk to all the shops in Ferndale. Great location will go back for sure."
